A switch security feature that prevents prevents arp cache poisoning from a rogue host by using a database of trusted IP to MAC address mappings.

This is a feature that's available on cisco switches, it relies on the 'DHCP Snooping' to be enabled as it is dependant the DHCP Snooping database for operation.
